About Echelon Ignite: Thailand

Echelon Ignite is all about bringing the Asian startup community to Thailand. Successful founders, investors, community leaders and key players will all be making their way to the Bangkok University (City Campus) on 22 – 23 November 2012 to present and interact with the Thai startup community.

The goal of Echelon Ignite is to Thailand is to catalyze the startup community in Thailand toward building an innovative and sustainable ecosystem by providing access to knowledge, networking opportunities and the chance to learn from other key players in Asia’s startup ecosystem.

The opportunity in Thailand is clear. It's the fourth largest market in South East Asia with a majority of youth aged 15 - 19 who are connected to the Internet. The Thais have also seen a 300% growth in tablet ownership and are geared toward a large mobile market.
